The seven sportcolumns of the UEG

Disciplines

Six different sports disciplines with European Championships organised every year characterise the multitude of European competition gymnastics. The most important disciplines of the UEG are the Olympic disciplines men's and women's artistic gymnastics as well as rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline.

Our fourth discipline - Trampoline - was admitted for the first time to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Sports acrobatics and sports aerobics complete the UEG competition disciplines.

Since 2005 TeamGym is officially integrated in the UEG Programme with its own technical Committee.

Disciplines

Last but not least comes the seventh pillar of European gymnastics, gymnastics for all. This discipline takes care of manifold events, programs and activities in leisure sport and sport for all (EUROGYM, Golden Age Gym Festival).
