UEG Congress
The 22nd UEG Congress will be held in Prague from October 2nd to 7th. It will be organized by the UEG in cooperation with the Czech Gymnastics Federation. Since 2003, the UEG Congress is organized every two years. The following programme is planned:
| < | October 2nd and 3rd – meetings of the Presidents Board and of the Executive Committee |
| < | October 4th – meeting of all 8 Technical Committees and of the Control Authority as well as a joint meeting of all UEG Authorities. |
| < | October 5th and 6th – official General Assembly chaired by the UEG President Dimitrios Dimitropoulos; the assembly will be held in the Congress Centre in Prague and starts on Friday at 15h00. A small celebration is planned at 20h00 for the 25th anniversary of the UEG. All persons from the UEG member federations having signed the foundation act have been invited, as well as the first two Presidents, Pierre Chabloz (SUI) and Klaus Lotz (GER). The 2nd part of the General Assembly begins on Saturday at 09h00 and will end at app. 17h00. |

ECh in Acrobatic Gymnastics in ’s-Hertogenbosch/NED
The 23rd Senior and 7th Junior European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics will be held in s’Hertogenbosch from October 21st to 28th, 2007. The competitions will begin with the 3rd European Age Group Games.
The Organising Committee is the Dutch Gymnastics Federation, which has already successfully organized the 2007 ECh Artistic Gymnastics in Amsterdam.
A total of 21 national federations (12 in the senior and 20 in the junior category) have confirmed their definitive participation: ARM, BEL, BLR, BUL, CZE, ESP, FRA, GBR, GER, HUN, IRL, ISR, ITA, LTU, MDA, NED, POL, POR, RUS, SUI and UKR. These numbers correspond to the registrations for the 2005 ECh; the deadline for the nominative entries expires on October 4th, 2007.

ECh in Aerobic Gymnastics in Szombathely/HUN
The 5th European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics for Seniors and the 2nd European Junior Championships as well as the European Age Group Games will be held from November 19th to 25th 2007 in Szombathely, situated at the western border of Hungary, close to Austria.
The competitions will be held in the modern Savaria Sports arena.
The definitive registrations show a participation of 21 federations for the seniors, of 22 for the juniors and of 21 for the age groups. This represents an increase of app. 25% compared to the 2005 event. The deadline for the nominative registration expires on November 1st, 2007.

2007 UEG Training camps for juniors and coaches’ courses
Under the proven management of the UEG Technical Committees, the summer training camps for juniors and coaches were successfully organized.
More than 250 gymnasts participated in the very popular UEG summer training camps for juniors in the disciplines artistic, acrobatic, aerobic gymnastics and also trampoline. At the same time were organized coaches’ courses (some 100 participants) in the disciplines artistic, rhythmic and aerobic gymnastics.
The junior training camps were organized with the generous support of the FIG, our umbrella federation.
